Dear League Members,
I am so honored to serve as your President for the 2023-2024 League Year. As a longtime member of the League this is a special year for me and I hope together we can make it productive, supportive, and fun!
A special Thank-You to the Board who have been hard at work envisioning and planning our many events planned for this year in support of our Symphony. A special thank you to our members who continue to recruit new members to our League as we grow and increase our impact on our community.
My goals for this Symphony League year, are to increase volunteer opportunities to allow all our members to find their special niche for supporting the symphony while we increase our fundraising footprint through our Special Events and Annual Fund contributions and to focus on our Mission: To collaboratively support the Houston Symphony’s audience development, education, and fundraising activities with engaged volunteers.
And continue to maintain our Vision: To partner actively with the Houston Symphony, to foster promoting new musicians, and to support artistic excellence, community outreach, education, and fundraising.
I hope you find this year a rewarding one as we grow together in promoting our Mission and Vision.
Let’s get this year underway as we all work together in volunteering, fundraising and being ambassadors for our amazing Houston Symphony while we have a wonderful time together fostering new relationships and celebrating old ones. Can’t wait to see each of you at our events and Houston Symphony concerts.
